History Of The Company

When Started

The company started in 2015, though the design phase for Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter" began over a year earlier. Sales started in 2016 after evaluating and engineering not only the product but the website.

Why Started

Was going to change a wax seal so I watched a video on YouTube and noticed that the plumber was carrying a toilet precariously down a flight of stairs.  It was very dangerous and I thought someone should make a handle for toting toilets safer.  This is what started the quest which would become Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter".

The Journey

It first started with a spring loaded toilet bowl rim lifting design, but the idea was rejected after seeing the limitations and it's awkwardness. It also meant one had to place their hands inside the toilet bowl which would contribute to bio-hazard contact. Besides it wasn't the answer for traversing stairs because it takes two hands when toting a fully assembled toilet. The primary purpose for Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter" was to tote complete toilets with one hand as well as lift them for wax seal, or maintenance purposes. Thus was born, after much engineering, Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter".

Here is a picture of the first design, which was rejected after trying it on various toilets some of which couldn't be lifted because they had no lip around the toilet bowl making it useless. Not to mention those toilets that had slanted rims which made it precarious to grip properly even with the locking bolt added to the unit. The design of the Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter" answered all of these concerns.

It's main function is to carry toilets up and down stairs, traverse construction sites, and easily transport and lift toilets into vehicles, yet incorporating the need to be used on various designs, and ever changing styles, and makes of toilets. Johnny Lift Stick - "The Toilet Toter" answered all of these issues not to mention giving lifters a variety of positions and options from which to lift, move or tote a toilet.  It also helped relieve significant stress on the back by allowing the lifter to stand with the toilet once lifted instead of straddling it to move it from one place to another, especially on the initial lift.
